Julio Baylón — “Black Shark”

For Julio Baylón, the ocean is more than a place to dive — it is a way of life.

Originally from Mexico City and living in Cabo San Lucas for over 30 years, Julio has dedicated much of his life to exploring and sharing the beauty of the ocean. With more than 18 years of experience as a professional dive guide, he has worked in different dive centers across Mexico and the Caribbean, guiding divers, snorkelers, and ocean lovers through incredible marine environments.

As an Ocean Naturalist, Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Water Rescue Professional, and Adaptive Diving Instructor, Julio believes diving is not only about going underwater, but about understanding and respecting the marine world.

His greatest passion is observing sharks of all species and sizes, animals that represent the wild spirit of the ocean.

Through BlackShark Premium Dive Services, Julio shares his knowledge, enthusiasm, and sense of humor to create safe, fun, and unforgettable ocean experiences.
